- 18 years of age
- Hold at least a Commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating
- Be able to read, speak and understand the English language
- Hold at least a valid third-class medical certificate
- Be a US citizen
- If not a US citizen, have TSA clearance
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test
CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFI)

CERTIFIED INSTRUMENT FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (CFII)
(allow 7-10 days for this course)
This course is an add-on to the CFI. You will be taught the theory and methods behind teaching people to fly under instrument flight rules.
MULTI-ENGINE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR (MEI)

This course will teach you the multi‐engine flight skills needed to teach safely and effectively in a multi‐engine aircraft.

Pricing: The packaged course prices contain the FAA/TCO minimum required flight and ground training. Any additional training will be billed at the normal hourly rate as stated in the JFS enrollment agreement. Course duration depends on many factors to include: study habits, aptitude, weather, etc. JFS reserves the right to alter the prices listed on this rate sheet under the following circumstances but not limited to, variations in fuel prices, airport landing charges if applicable, FAA exam fees, repeating tests or exams and requests for additional tuition and classroom time.
